True love invites…

True love does not ask you to change,

it simply invites you into a safe space

where you can stop being

who you are not.

Love them where they are…

Where they are…

When we truly love

people, we must meet

them where they are,

not where we think

they should be.  We

must give them what

they need, not what

we think they need

to have.  We must respect

who they are, not what

we think they ought

to be.  That’s love.

Nothing more,

nothing less.

~Willy Nywening

We may all strive for unconditional love.

We not only want to love others unconditionally, but we also want others to love us unconditionally.

That would be possible in a utopian society, but in our world, people are so self centered that they rarely do anything for others unconditionally.

Our whole existence is based on doing things for each other and being paid or repaid for what we do.

The more we do basically, the more we get.

The higher our status becomes, the more we can expect from others.

More money, more care, more of whatever becomes important to us.

But this doesn’t necessarily promote more LOVE.

In fact, it often separates people from their close friends and family members.

Always thinking we deserve more is the opposite of unconditional love.

Unconditional love is self less not – more for the self.

Loving the self is much different than feeling that we deserve more from other people.

We need to find the receiving mode from our true self, our inner being and listen to it.

From there we are able to express our own self love out to others.

That is the only way to really LOVE anyone or any thing unconditionally.

If we don’t have it, we can’t share it.

So many people try but they always fall short and end up feeling defeated in their endeavors.

Usually frustrated and reacting with anger because once again, they haven’t manipulated anyone into loving them.

But they don’t know any better.

They are just doing the best they can with what they have.

They just don’t know how to do the deep work of getting to know their own loving inner being.

So all they have to share is conditional love, judgement and manipulation.

No wonder their relationships don’t last very long.

Going from one person to the next looking for LOVE in all the wrong places.

Looking for love from someone else who doesn’t know how to love themselves either.

What a circus their life ends up being.

Blaming one person after the next.  Justifying their current losses.

Always striving to find someone else who is loving and kind, when all they really need to do is find their own true love – their inner self  – and the search is over.

Then we can look at others with love.

Accepting them right where they are.

Respecting them right where they are.

Allowing others to just be themselves

while we love them unconditionally

because we are being our own true loving selves.

And we are filled with our own true self love

so much

that it will over flow to everyone around us,

meeting them where ever they are.

Money is very important in life, but there are many things that money can not buy.

These are all significant parts of life that you don’t need money for,

in fact no amount of money can buy them.

The power of love…

The power of love…

“I believe in the immeasurable

power of love; that true love can

endure any circumstance and

reach across any distance.”

~Steve Maraboli

Love comes in many shapes and forms.

There is the feeling of love when you hold your pet and it returns the love to you.

A cat will purr and snuggle in a little closer to you, a dog will wag it’s tail and run around in circles.

People react a little bit different.

Sometimes love is shown in positive ways.

It may show up as:

  • a thoughtful glance
  • a card in the mail
  • a compliment
  • a kind word
  • a special gift
  • a bouquet of flowers

Sometimes love is shown in odd or seemingly negative ways:

  • a truthful comment
  • an unwanted reprimand
  • a correction in gramer
  • an argument
  • unwanted clarification
  • a break in relationship

True love can endure any circumstance,

and reach across any distance.

True love endures the negative, harsh, arguments because the underlying “true love” shines through the human frailty and faults.

One person may intend a comment in one way and the other person interprets it in a different way.

It is only through enduring the moment and using clarification to remind each other what is really meant that can bring you closer together in unity and love.

Start the next chapter…

You

can’t start

the next

chapter

of your life

if you keep

re-reading

the last one.

~Zig Zigler

Sometimes it is really hard to let go of something.

Even if a relationship isn’t working very well, at least it is “familiar.”

So many people hold on just for the comfort of knowing what to expect with that person and relationship, but if that’s what you are doing, you will never get to a new chapter.

You will just keep re-reading the same old chapter and getting the same old story as you have been getting.

Why not try something new and exciting?

Maybe it’s even time to move on and start reading a new book.

You never know how much better it can get if you don’t even try…

True love may be just around the next corner…

Seven things money can’t buy:

7-things
The seven things money can’t buy are:

A happy family, true love, passion, time, knowledge, respect, and inner peace.

     1.  A happy family

There is no amount of money that can buy a happy family.  Of coarse money is an important part of any family, but happiness is a result of so many things other than money.

 2. True Love

True love can not be bought.  It can be coerced and promised but never really bought.  All the money in the world can not replace the heartfelt emotions shared by the unconditional love felt by two people who are truly in love.

     3.  Passion

Passion is an emotion that can only be felt.  There is no way that you can put a price on passion.

     4. Time

Many people get paid by the hour, but there is really no way to buy yourself more time.  Age happens and sometimes it is slowed by expensive products and lifestyles, but in the end, every one dies at some point.  It is inevitable.

     5. Knowledge

Knowledge is the compilation of many things, including living life.  Education can be bought, but knowledge is a byproduct that some people never attain, no matter how much education they receive.

     6.  Respect

Respect is a quality that is usually earned by a life of honesty, and kindness.  One can also be respected for other good qualities and good deeds, but respect can never actually be bought.

     7.  Inner Peace

Peace comes from within.  Inner peace is something that is a product of living a righteous, thoughtful, mindful life.  It may take a life time to gain inner peace, depending on your life sources, family, and the amount of desire you place on obtaining it.  It definitely can not be bought at any price, however a nice  well secured place to live will obviously help you get a good night’s sleep so that you can have the ability to seek more depth.

Your task is not to seek for love,

barriers

Your task is not to seek for love,

but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it. Rumi

The more you seek something, the more elusive it becomes.  You must learn how to be “LOVE” instead of chasing after it.

There are so many barriers put up over a life time to guard and protect our selves that after a few failures and life lessons, the walls are built so high that it is hard to get over them and find our real selves again.

The more you are able to strip away all the barriers you have put up and the walls you have built, the easier it will be to find true love.  Or maybe better said – TRUE LOVE  will find you.

Get in touch with your emotions.

Learn to love and cherish yourself.

Be all that you can be and love will grow to be a bigger and bigger part of your life.
