Not everything is cancelled…

Sunshine is not cancelled. Spring is not cancelled. Love is not cancelled. Relationships are not cancelled. Reading is not cancelled. Naps are not cancelled. Devotions are not cancelled. Music is not cancelled. Dancing is not cancelled. Imagination is not cancelled. Kindness is not cancelled. Conversations are not cancelled. Hope is not cancelled. ~SimpleStencils.com

The beauty of spring…

The beauty of spring is in the air.

Although there are so many things that we cannot do right now, going outside and enjoying our view of spring is one thing we can all enjoy.

Some parks are closed and lots of other places are closed too, but there are always views available if you look for them.

Along the street on the way to the grocery store is one of them. We are not restricted from looking around as we go out for necessities like food and groceries.

We are not restricted from watching nature video’s on TV or looking through beautiful magazines or books.

Look for the good around you and make each day the best it can be with whatever is available to you.

Seasons

There are numerous seasons throughout your life.

Appreciate every one as it goes back and forth…fall-leaves-2

Whether it be your spring, summer, fall or winter.

The less demanding it is for you to float along with the evolving seasons, the simpler and more enjoyable your life will be.

In the event that you battle each change, life will be trying, as well as more troublesome than it must be.

Keep it basic…easy does it…

Give life a chance to happen at it’s own pace…

Appreciate each day… as much as you can…

and just be happy with what you have.  Gratitude is the key to having a happy life.

That doesn’t mean that you cannot have dreams and goals, it just means that being driven to get everything done in a less than reasonable amount of time only leads to heart problems and high blood pressure.

Go with the stream instead of against it and life will flow much easier for you – what ever season.

The Beauty of Spring is in the Air…

The beauty of Spring…

The beauty of spring
The delicate sweet smelling yellow daffodils are out in full bloom, and so are the notorious ever spreading dandelions, and various other prolific yet pretty flowers, also known as “weeds”.

There are all kinds of flowers blooming and growing everywhere you turn, everywhere you look.

Spring has SPRUNG in the Pacific Northwest.

Pictured here is my beautiful prized pear tree showing off its soft fragrant blossoms to the world. Bees are buzzing by to say hello and collect all of the delicate golden pollen that they can hold in the little pollen pockets on their legs. Sometimes the fuzzy little honey bees look so full of pollen and weighted down, that it is questionable whether they are going to be able to fly away, fully loaded to their maximum capacity.  Somehow they do though, off and away they go, buzzing loudly now as they engage their powerful and mighty little wings, all the while pursuing the mission of finding their way back to the hive, full speed ahead.

The cool but gentle breeze is also blowing diligently through the air, spreading the loose little pear tree petals to the ground, piling them up as if they were snow drifts, into soft little white mounds, covering and caressing the grass below them.

There is certain beauty everywhere.

Even the grass is a quaint spring shade of green, growing tall and free – even where it’s not suppose to be. Wanting and trying to expand it’s own kind before the other nearby species grow taller and stronger, forcing it into submission.

The sky is a distinct cerulean shade of blue with just a few light, puffy, cumulous clouds scattered about here and there, proving that it is truly SPRING in the northwest area of Washington State.

Even the birds are chirping with excitement as they perch themselves in nearby cedar and Nobel fir trees, singing their songs of love to one another.  Joyously spreading their message to nearby squirrels and chipmunks who also inhabit their own secluded section of the mighty Noble fir tree.  Spring is here – Spring is in the air – Everywhere- they proclaim!

Have a great day everyone.  I hope you have enjoyed this little descriptive writing where I have purposely painted a picture of Spring using colorful words to go along with the current photo of a pear tree from my back yard.  Please take time to comment or write your own version of “Spring is in the air” and share it in the comment section below.
