Peace is a priority…

I am at a place in my life

where peace is a priority.

I make deliberate life choices to

protect my mental, emotional,

and spiritual state.

If you want to maintain

peace and harmony in your life,

you have to be sure that you make and keep peace and harmony

a high-level, prominent priority.

Anything less will result in muddled boundaries

crowded by indecision and people who’s intentions

may not be pure, or peaceful.

If you really want PEACE in your life,

you have to pay the

eminent price of maintaining it.

Deliberate life choices…

I’m at a place in my life where peace is a priority. I make the deliberate life choices to protect my mental, emotional, and spiritual state. ~ author unknown

It seems that the older I get, the more peace and harmony becomes the most important priority I have.

With a peaceful, harmonious life, problems are less of an issue.

Excluding the chaos and company of impatient, inconsiderate people, leaves the constant of loving, kind, supportive people.

Which results in a more peaceful, harmonious state.

Health issues are less and happiness is more with less stressful situations and deliberate life choices that are protective of my spiritual, mental and physical state.

It’s not a priority…

It’s not a priority…

“Instead of saying ” I don’t have time” try

saying “it’s not a priority,” and see how

that feels.  Often, that’s a perfectly

adequate explanation.  I have time to iron

my sheets, I just don’t want to.  But other

things are harder.  Try it:  “I’m not going to

edit your resume, sweetie, because it’s not

a priority.”  “I don’t go to the doctor

because my health is not a priority.”  If

these phrases don’t sit well, that’s the

point.  Changing our language reminds us

that time is a choice.  If we don’t like how

we’re spending an hour, we can choose differently.”

So many people use the excuse

” I don’t have time.”

When what they really mean is

that they just don’t want to do some thing.

It sounds better to them to make a

politically accepted excuse

rather than exploring the possibility

of offending someone else by telling them

the truth.

People get in the subtle habit of “People Pleasing”

and they forget that they even have a solid inner  “truth” to uphold.

Everyone has the same 24 hours a day at their disposal.

And how you spend that 24 hours is up to you,

It becomes a question of integrity rather than obligation

or excuse when you realize that time is a choice,

and take responsibility for the honesty of your choices.
