and simply allow yourself to experience them in full rather than running away

and attempting to avoid, deny or numb-out with addictions or other self destructive behavior.

The only way out…

The only way out is through. ~ attributed to Carl Jung

Have you ever attempted to get away from those inner feelings that seem to upset you no matter how you look at them?

That is what working through is about here.

You can not get away from your inner self.

In fact the more you think about a subject the more prevalent it becomes.

According to the law of attraction, the more attention you put on something, the more prominent it is.

The only answer is to STOP thinking about it and move on to something else.

There are many modalities that help you to overcome your critical or other wise detrimental thinking and help you work through the problem at hand so that you can release the issue and move on from it.

Just trying to decide to STOP thinking about it doesn’t work. Because that actually defies the law of attraction, which says that whatever you focus on expands.

You may have to work yourself away from your issue a little at a time.

The best way to do this is to think of a better feeling thought by reframing your issue in a different way.

Asking yourself if maybe there is another way to look at the problem.

Then start thinking about different things that feel a little bit better, or how someone else would answer these questions.

How someone else might look at the issues differently.

Pretty soon you have a different train of thought going and the issue is far behind you.

Of coarse, if you still haven’t changed your beliefs about the issue, it will likely revisit you in time.

That is what working through it is all about.

Finding a way to let it go enough

and change your beliefs about it enough

so that it won’t bother you any more at all.

There are also a vast number of feelings in-between these listed.

The more intense the feelings are the less accurate descriptions we have to express them.

Sometimes there just aren’t the appropriate words to share your intimate, intense, colorful expressions in written language.
