“If you want to awaken all of humanity,
then awaken all of yourself, if you want
to eliminate the suffering in the world,
then eliminate all that is dark and
negative in yourself. Truly, the greatest
gift you have to give is that of your own
The hardest and most challenging work anyone can do – is working on yourself.
If you are able to change things in yourself, the other things in your life line up in better ways,
because everything is connected.
For example, when you forgive someone, they no longer have a negative effect on your life.
You will very seldom think of that person again because they are no longer your center of focus.
They go “off your radar” in other words, where as before you forgave them, you probably thought of them often. Reviewing their wrongness and infractions over and over in your heart and mind.
Maybe even sharing the story with your friends and acquaintances.
What a different feeling you experience after you no longer care about what that person did – either to you or to someone else, because they just don’t resonate on your vibrational scale any more.
You have changed your point of view and they are no longer “in view.”
This new self-transformation has brought you to a different point of view.
Your view has now changed and that in itself will begin to change those around you.
As you, yourself become more tolerant, the whole world around you also becomes more tolerant.
The more loving and kind you become, the more loving and kind the world becomes around you.
Changing yourself is really the only way to change any thing else.
