If there is something tonight that you really want in this world, then experience in imagination what you would experience in the flesh were you to realize your goal and deafen your ears, and blind your eyes to all that denies the reality of your assumption. ~ Neville Goddard (1948 lecture)
Although this seems to be the theme of the new age movement, this lecture was given many years ago.
Long before the term “new age” was popular.
Imaginary thinking is a real way of achieving things in life.
It takes belief and allowing your beliefs to materialize more than anything else.
Sometimes you actually stand in your own way by dwelling on the lack of what ever you are trying to manifest.
The wrong focus on things cause them to be held in a resistance pattern instead of an allowing pattern.
If you are trying to manifest something in your life, be sure to have only POSITIVE thoughts about it.
Imagine that thing already in you life as if it already exists. For example, you are dreaming about a new car.
You need to pick out the type and model. The color and year. You need to see yourself in it. Perhaps take one for a test drive. In other words, do everything you can do to make your dream seem real.
Then just let it go.
Don’t talk yourself out of your desire by saying things like, “well I really don’t have the money to buy a car like that… or maybe this isn’t the best time to get a new car…
Just take your attention off of it and – wait for it…
And then don’t be surprised when that car shows up in your life some how.
It’s amazing how synchronicities work
as long as you don’t put a squash on them,
changing the desire into resistance
before it can manifest.
