Grateful…

grateful
Name one thing that you can be grateful for today.

You may have to start with something small and think for a minute – but try to come up with at least five things – right now.

  1.  I am warm
  2.  I am full
  3.  I have a place to sleep
  4.  I have a great family
  5.  I am blessed with a job

Those were just a few off the top of my head.

Once you get started, the list can go on and on.

Gratefulness is one of the best ways to cure any holiday blues, or to help anyone feel better any time they may need a lift.

Thinking positively really can change your outlook and brighten any day.

If you are on a negative roll or things aren’t going well for you, try a little gratefulness or thankfulness and see how quickly you can turn yourself around.

Pretty soon you will feel better and your energy level will rise to a vibrant, positive state.

Healing…

The key to HEALING is within you.

Look within yourself until you find peace.

 

Free yourself from worries.

The more you worry about something, the more you have to worry about.  Free yourself and stop worrying.

 

Find joy in everything you do.

Everything has a bright side.  Sometimes you have to look deep to find it, but if you keep looking long enough, there is an element of joy to be found.

 

Stay positive and be grateful for the beautiful world around you.

The world can be a wonderful, beautiful place if you stay positive and look for the beauty around you.   Don’t get caught up in the negativity.

 

Find comfort from your loved ones.

Loved ones are so precious, be sure to enjoy them and accept the comfort they have to offer you.  Allow the love to flow from yourself to them- and back again- full circle.

 

Keep your faith.

Faith is so important.  Hang on to it no matter what happens.  The rainbow is a perfect example of what happens

when there is a little rain mixed with the sunshine.

 

Believe that in God everything is possible.

Everything is possible if you believe.  Sometimes it takes a little while for things to work out, but if you can hang in there until things line up, you will see that God does know best and everything is possible.

Stop worrying…

Stop worrying about what you CAN’T DO and start focusing on what you CAN DO.

 

You can spend your whole life worrying and fretting about things that you can’t do anything about.

Things like the choices that others make.

And you can worry about all the things you don’t know how to do, or haven’t learned to do yet.

Or you can start focusing on the things that you can do.

  • Things that you really like to do.
  • Things that you are good at doing.
  • Things that you love doing.

Life is short.

Spend it doing what you can do and what you love doing.

Be the best you can be.

The dark side…

Never let a dark past hold you back from a brighter future.  Let the good energies in

and know that YOU deserve it.

 

Everyone has a past.  That is how we learn and grow in life.

The more we learn about what we don’t want – the clearer we become about what we do want.

Sometimes we don’t even have a choice about whether we are being included in dark deeds, and sometimes we are just on the dark side of life.

It is up to you to choose your life and what you want out of it, but YOU do deserve good energy, peace and happiness if you want it!  Allow the light in and enjoy each and every day.  You can have a bright future if you let the darkness go and seek the light that is available to you.

You deserve love and to be loved.

Grief…

grief

“Grief, I’ve learned, is really just love.  It’s all the love you want to give but cannot.  All of that unspent love gathers up in the corners of your eyes, the lump in your throat, and in that hollow part of your chest.  Grief is just love with no place to go.”

Sometimes things happen in life that we have no control over and we are left in unexpected predicaments and situations that are less than ideal.

When this happens and we have no where to go with out emotions, we tend to let them gather up and build up instead of letting them out in tears and verbal expression.

Life happens whether we are ready for it or not.

We don’t always like what happens and that is where grief comes in.  The loss of a loved one is tough whether they are gone in Spirit or just physically gone some where else. Loss is something we all have to learn to deal with and it isn’t necessarily easy.

Getting a massage is always helpful when you are in the grieving stage.  It allows the touch of a professional therapist to sooth your sore achy muscles and calm the central nervous system with gentle soft tissue manipulation and caring hands.

Other things that might help are soft soothing music, good healthy food and drink, vitamins and supplements, using essential oils or applying some nice scented lotion to your hands, arms and face.  Stay hydrated.

Do whatever else you can to feel better as you go through the process of grief.

It won’t last forever – honest…

Anger…

easily-anger-you
If another can easily anger you, it is because you are off balance with yourself.

It is so much easier to blame someone else for making you angry than to think that it might be your own fault.

I mean -when they put you down, or get really angry at you, or call you a bunch of rotten names, it is definitely their fault – when you get angry back – right? It’s only fair!

But only if you let their words get to you and you are in a place where you easily “react”to what someone else says or how they act rather than responding to them with your own emotional state – perhaps with love and kindness.

The way you react is all about you.

It’s not them or what ever they had to say but the way you react is all about you and your own emotional state. Perhaps you are off balance with yourself if you do react in anger.

Think about it.

People who are in a state of peace and harmony react in a completely different way than someone who rages on and on and tries to offend every one in their path way.

Hopefully you will learn to be balanced where the rudeness of others no longer offends you at all because you know that in the end they must own up to their own lame and unbalanced emotions and you alone are responsible for what you think and how you react and respond to life and the others around you.

Changes…

change-yourself
Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself.

Changes come from within.  Usually they are brought about when something happens that is not wanted.  A person realizes that they somehow have unwanted results and they decide that they really do want something different.

For example, let’s say you just lost your job.  You may be upset to start with, but after thinking about it for a while, you may decide that you would like to try something else. You find a new job and end up becoming the CEO after a few years.

Looking back you realize that the change that was caused by taking a new job led you to something better. Something that you really like doing.

It may be something that even benefits mankind, and will someday feed the world.

One change at a time we can become more of who we  are meant to be.

One change at a time we can change the world around us, and ultimately everything will change.

Broken

broken

In Japan, broken objects are often repaired with GOLD.  The flaw is seen as a unique piece of the object’s history, which adds to it’s beauty.

After being broken a few times, a person can either stay broken and feel very sorry for themselves, or count it as valuable lessons learned that make them stronger than ever.

The choice is yours.  Every decision can be considered as just a decision and if you don’t like the results – just make another decision.  Hopefully a better decision that leads you to better results.

This is not to negate the tragedy that people feel when they are recovering from a lost love or relationship that meant everything to them. Things change and so do people.  If you are on the short end of the stick there is no doubt going to be some pain and suffering involved.

So be gentle to yourself and give yourself all the time you need to get through life as easy as you can.

Just remember that in Japan, being broken is treasured and repaired with the most valuable element of all GOLD.

Be thankful…

Be Thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more.  If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough.

Being thankful definitely makes a difference in life.  Your attitude is everything.  Having a thankful attitude gives you the advantage of attracting more.  When you focus on something it grows.  If you focus on it enough it keeps growing and growing.

If you focus on what you don’t have or what there is a lack of, that increases the thoughts and growth of more lack.  Concentrating on what you don’t have just brings more discontent instead of adding to what you really do want.   Being thankful for what you all ready do have is the only way to increase it and bring in more.

Start with thinking about something small that you are thankful for and then write it down.  Keep going.

Keep adding to your list until you have several things that you are thankful for.

Then keep adding until you have a full list and you can actually feel the thankfulness in your heart.

The more you express your thankfulness, the more it will grow and become a bigger part of your life and more easily accessible.

Everyone comes with baggage.

Baggage…

Everyone comes with baggage.

Find Someone who loves you enough to help you unpack.

We all have a past and no doubt all pasts contain a certain amount of baggage.

Hopefully you have been able to unload a lot of yours, working through the things you’ve experienced and gone through.

Gleaming the valuable lessons and saving the precious memories while discarding the muck and stones that were thrown in haste.

Life is a mixture of good and bad, a compilation of lessons and processes that we have gone through as we have grown from an infant through childhood, teen years, and ending up in the adult arena, or on to the golden years.

Many a childhood is filled with scrapes and scars that leave open wounds for the rest of our lives.  It is up to us to look at those wounds and figure out how to sooth our selves and smooth out the damages and rough edges until we are healthy and strong enough to engage in more adventures, including relationships.

It is so important to have unbiased help along the way and that is where a friend that will help us unpack comes in. Someone who is non judge mental, accepting, allowing, and loving.  Someone who loves themselves enough to not be threatened by you, but able to help and accept you as you are.
